Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM) held its 2024 Advisory Board Meeting on October 25. It was the board's 25th annual meeting since its establishment. A total of 22 board members attended the meeting.

The Tsinghua Alumni Association held its European convention at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland on Oct 5, where alumni and their families from across Europe, as well as North America and Asia, gathered to reconnect.

The third Tsinghua Higher Education Forum, initiated by Tsinghua University, commenced on August 30 under the theme "Boundaries of Possibility: Empowering Higher Education with Artificial Intelligence." Li Luming, President of Tsinghua University, Lin Huiqing, Vice President of China Association of Higher Education, and Song Yi, Director General of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Stefania Giannini, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education, delivered the video address. Yang Bin, Vice President of Tsinghua University, presided over the opening ceremony.

The second Tsinghua Global Youth Dialogue (TGYD) kicked off in Shanghai on August 19. The immersive experience featured field trips to Zhejiang, Guizhou, Inner Mongolia, and other regions to increase understanding of China's state of development and future collaboration possibilities. Through in-depth excursions and exchanges, the youth representatives explored China’s achievements in globalization, technological innovation, environmental conservation, and cultural legacy. The event brought together 100 young leaders from 35 nations, with the goal of building a cross-border dialogue platform where global youth can foster connections and inspire others through mutual understanding and academic engagement. Youth representatives exhibited the spirit and responsibility of Chinese youth in the new era, building bridges for international cooperation, exchange, global peace, and development.

On August 29, 2024, Tsinghua University inaugurated the main forum of the Second Global Youth Dialogue, bringing together 100 participants from 35 countries and regions.

Tsinghua University held an opening ceremony on August 23 to welcome its incoming graduates. More than 9,000 students embarked on a new journey at Tsinghua in 2024.

Forty young representatives from 17 international universities, including Cambridge, Harvard, MIT, Oxford and Yale, participated in the opening ceremony of the Tsinghua Summer Fellowship Programme on August 17. The event was hosted by Tsinghua’s Cyrus Tang Center for Student Global Development and the Center for Global Competence Development.

Registration for Tsinghua incoming graduate students was held on August 22.

Tsinghua University held an opening ceremony to welcome its incoming undergraduates on August 15. More than 3,000 undergraduates embarked on a new journey at Tsinghua in 2024.

Ambassadors of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) to China convened on June 18 at Tsinghua University's Jianhua Building of the School of Economics and Management to discuss "China's Investments and the Development of LAC Countries."

The 5th Tsinghua-Peking University Low-carbon Campus Design Friendly Competition was held on June 6th. The exchange meeting showcasing the outcomes of the "Handmade Innovation Practice" course from Tsinghua University and the "Sustainable Campus Practice" course from Peking University were held the same day.
